We are dedicated to researching and treating heart disease during pregnancy. We hypothesize that pregnancy acts as a metabolic and cardiovascular stress test. The Women’s Heart Centre offers support for cardiac complications that may arise during pregnancy, such as hypertension, arrhythmias, gestational diabetes, obesity, and sleep disorders. We specialize in developing multidisciplinary care plans to manage long-term cardiac risks for high-risk mothers postpartum.
